EuroSafe Imaging at the CIRSE 2016 Radiation Protection Pavilion

EuroSafe Imaging is pleased to announce its participation at the third Radiation Protection Pavilion (RPP) at the upcoming CIRSE Annual Meeting, from September 10-14, 2016, in Barcelona, Spain.

Organised by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), the Radiation Protection Pavilion is an interactive awareness campaign on radiation protection and dose management in interventional radiology, providing tailored information and services to promote safe practices amongst interventional professionals.

Congress delegates will have the opportunity to test their skills and knowledge and take part in a range of exciting activities: talks by world-leading experts, free eye checks for radiation-induced lens opacities, RPP quiz, tailored information materials and discussions of the latest protective technologies with industry partners.

In addition, a sticker campaign will be organised, which will be linked to a prize draw on Monday, September 12 at the Radiation Protection Pavilion – participate in the sticker campaign and win a free registration for ECR 2017 plus 3 nights hotel accommodation.

The Radiation Protection Pavilion will feature Mini-Talks on hot topics in radiation safety. A Mini-Talk entitled “EuroSafe Imaging – the European Society of Radiology’s multi-stakeholder alliance to support and strengthen medical radiation protection across Europe” will be presented by Prof. Graciano Paulo (Leader of the „Ask EuroSafe Imaging“  initiative; Coimbra/PT)  on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, 11:30-11:40.
