EuroSafe Imaging at ECR 2020

EuroSafe Imaging will once again have a detailed programme on medical radiation protection at the forthcoming European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2020 and will proudly present the campaign’s projects and activities on raising awareness on radiation protection in medical imaging. This year there is an additional focus on paediatric imaging. The ECR 2020 will be held at the Austria Centre Vienna (ACV), from March 11 – March 15, 2020.

Below you can find more details about what sessions EuroSafe Imaging has planned for ECR 2020, making sure that the issue of radiation protection is front and centre throughout the congress.

We look forward to a successful ECR 2020 and to welcoming you to our EuroSafe Imaging Lounge!

EuroSafe Imaging Lounge

The ECR 2020 will again feature the EuroSafe Imaging Lounge (ACV, 1st floor, foyer N). The lounge will provide a dedicated place for learning about the EuroSafe Imaging campaign’s achievements so far, ongoing activities and planned endeavours. This year, children are in focus – find out how EuroSafe Imaging helps to ensure the highest standards in paediatric radiology.

Dedicated Coffee & Talk sessions will be held next to the EuroSafe Imaging Lounge. These sessions will discuss the EuroSafe Imaging campaign’s activities and address the challenges of raising awareness of radiation protection in medical imaging.

Moreover, the EuroSafe Imaging campaign has its own cafe and therefore invites you to take your time to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while networking with your colleagues and learning more about radiation protection.

Poster exhibition and presentation

As in the previous years, the electronic EuroSafe Imaging poster exhibition will be accessible in the EuroSafe Imaging Lounge and the ECR Online and EPOS™ Lounge (ACV, 1st floor). Selected EuroSafe Imaging posters will be presented by the authors at the Voice of EPOS (VoE) stage at the ECR 2020.
