ESR iGuide at ECR 2017

The ESR considers the use of imaging referral guidelines through clinical decision support systems at the point of care to be the most effective way to improve the referral process and utilise imaging more appropriately. ESR iGuide is a CDS system using referral guidelines developed by the ESR in cooperation with the American College of Radiology, available to healthcare providers in Europe since 2016.

The annual European Congress of Radiology is an opportunity to take stock of the status quo regarding referral guidelines and the use of decision support software, and to discuss the outlook towards the future. Here are some of the highlights that you shouldn’t miss when you come to Vienna:
