EuroSafe Imaging at ECR 2018

EuroSafe Imaging has plenty in store for the upcoming European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2018 to present the campaign’s projects and raise awareness on radiation protection in medical imaging. The ECR 2018 will be held at the Austria Centre Vienna (ACV), from February 28 – March 4, 2018.

In particular, EuroSafe Imaging’s activities at ECR 2018 are dedicated to providing guidance and practical tools to support the implementation of the European Basic Safety Standards Directive (2013/59/Euratom). One dedicated session will focus on the BSS Directive and give different perspectives, from the clinical to the regulatory and the technical one. In addition, the EuroSafe Imaging Lounge is the place to go to get more information on the BSS requirements that affect healthcare professionals in radiology.

Read in the following in more detail what EuroSafe Imaging has in store for ECR 2018 making sure that the issue of radiation protection is front and centre throughout the congress.

We look forward to a successful ECR 2018 and to welcoming you to our EuroSafe Imaging activities.
